Eddie's Angels is a volunteer program that:

Recruits, trains, and screens volunteers to facilitate searches for family members or other significant adults that have had a meaningful relationship with a child or youth in foster care
Focus on those children and youth who are “stuck” in the foster care system

The goals of the program are:

Healthy family members are found, connections are established and activity with the child or youth increase. This includes letter, phone calls, visits and/or participation in the child or youth’s service planning

The family makes a permanent commitment to the child, removing the child from the Texas foster care system through guardianship or adoption.
